TINDAYA

Tindaya, is a small village situated on a plain at the foot of the “Sacred Mountain,” which holds a great number of aboriginal relics.

It was (is?) the dwelling place of the two priestesses of the Guanches (aboriginal people) and there are the remains on its top of a complex astronomical clock and engraved footprints.

The nearby coastline is rugged and wild with deep rock pools for a warm bath.
